If you're using a mobile device, you can take a photo of your signature using your device – all you need is a blue or black pen and a piece of white paper. If you're using a desktop computer, you'll need to scan or upload a photo of your signature.
01. You complete an application
Register to vote in just a few easy clicks! Just give us your information, add your signature, confirm your details, and hit submit—it only takes a few minutes.
02. We submit your application to the BOE
Once you've completed the process, we'll send your voter registration application to the Board of Elections. From there, the BOE will verify the information you submitted, confirm your identity, and complete your enrollment.
03. Get confirmation and go vote
The BOE will send you a mailed confirmation that you've successfully registered within a few weeks. You can also check your registration status at voting.nyc. Once you're a registered voter, go vote and make a difference!
